About "Trapped"
“Trapped” is a narrative feature that explores how Americans all across the nation find themselves stuck in certain neighborhoods because of various factors that include, education and financial hardships. In these instances, people often have to choose between less-than-desirable living arrangements and are sometimes faced with limited options.

The Elements
What’s our slice of the pie? The conflict that we depict in our narrative feature is that for some people, the “American Dream” isn’t an option because they are stuck in their neighborhoods, communities, and living situations for the following reasons:

Financial restrictions: they can’t afford to leave

Educational limitations: they don’t have any higher education/ college degrees, which limits the types of jobs they can obtain
